Profile setup
Set up your profile so collaborators know who you are and what you do.
Creating your profile
When you first sign up, Takeyard walks you through a quick setup where you choose your display name, roles (what you do — vocalist, producer, etc.), and genres (what kind of music you make).
Your roles
Roles tell other creators what skills you bring to a collaboration. You can select multiple roles — maybe you're both a vocalist and a songwriter. These show up as badges on your profile and help people find you on the board.
Your genres
Genres help match you with the right projects. Select the genres you work in, and they'll appear on your profile alongside your roles.
Avatar
Upload a profile photo or avatar. This appears on your profile, on the collab board next to your calls, and in project workspaces.
Editing your profile
You can update your profile at any time. Go to your profile page (click your avatar in the top-right corner) and click “Edit profile.”
What others see
Your profile shows your display name, roles, genres, avatar, and your credit history (projects you've contributed to). Your verified contributions are private — only you can see the detailed proof records.
